It was 1927 when Leonardo Damiani founded the company which bears his name in the city of Brixen. Specialising in the production and sale of solid wood beams, both the company and its areas of expertise experienced constant growth in the years to come. In 1989, grandson of the founder Markus Damiani joined the company, taking over management shortly afterwards and expanding the company’s operations to include the construction of timber roofing and timber houses. In 2010, having forged a close working partnership over the years, Damiani Holzindustrie AG and Zimmerei holz&co merged to become Damiani-Holz&KO AG; since then, the company has combined artisan craftsmanship with contemporary planning and up-to-the-minute manufacturing technology under the brand name of LignoAlp. Today, the company’s 125 specialist experts work in close cooperation with planners and builders throughout the Alpine region and beyond. LignoAlp employees boast a wide breadth of technical experience, enable absolute freedom in architectural design, and guarantee uncompromisingly high quality.
