The entire structure of the mountain hut consists of wooden portals that remain visible in the interior to further express the complex geometry. The entire external façade, including the roof, was clad with larch wood slats, while the supporting structure and the interior cladding were made of spruce wood. The building at 2,096 metres above sea level was erected in 2016; LignoAlp was responsible for the technical planning, prefabrication and assembly of the timber construction.
